16.1 The use of deception

One of Satan’s most effective tools is deception. If he can convince us to accept lies as truth, and truth as lies, we are much easier to control. An example of the way that truth can be replaced by lies is provided in George Orwell’s book ‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’ where Big Brother’s slogan is:

WAR IS PEACE  – FREEDOM IS SLAVERY  –  IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

16.2 Influence of the Mainstream Media

According to Fortune Magazine, six corporations own or control most of the media: Comcast, Disney, 21st Century Fox, Viacom, ATT, and CBS. Fifteen billionaires now own most of the media and newsprint in the US.

16.3 Social Media Networks

Recently, an extreme example of censorship was the de-platforming from Twitter of the President of the United States.

16.4 Government Agencies

Many mainstream news channels often simultaneously report on the same events using the same words and phrases. Obviously fed from the same source.

16.5 Hollywood            

Did You Know?
Hollywood turned broken men into heroes after the Vietnam War and helped the U.S. military sell the war on terror.

16.6 Whistleblowers          

Did You Know?
Whistleblowers almost always become victims of their actions; so some countries such as the US are seeing the need to increase legal protection for them.
